Bunny provides a bespoke service to meet most requirements. This ranges from a one day consultation aimed at the private householder looking for inspiration to a full design, planning and implementation service for the larger private and commercial projects.

Day Consultancy – ‘Shaping the Masterplan’

The Day Consultation is commonly used by private clients for gardens of all sizes as most clients enjoy having a high degree of involvement in the design. It is important to have a good site survey so exact levels and areas can be worked with. BGLD can give details of surveyors or extra information on this can be given by contacting bunny.guinness@sibberton.com. This would be appropriate if there are problems with the garden layout or are starting afresh. It involves setting aside a full day for Bunny to visit the site, be primed of the objectives of the design and any limitations and then Bunny working through (along side the client) to produce a sketch master plan of the whole garden or specific problem areas. The sketch is reworked back at Bunny’s office and then sent to the client with information on purchasing and sourcing plants and materials if required. If the scheme is large and complicated, then it is possible for Bunny to quote for further input (planting plans, construction details) at this stage. Day consultancy starts from £950 plus VAT and travel and includes the day spent together and subsequent office time drawing the scheme up.

Detailing up The Masterplan

For all schemes schemes Bunny offers a complete range of services from sketch designs through detailed drawings, construction details, planting plans and specifications to checking contractors work on site and production of maintenance schedules as required. Bunny has a great deal of experience in presenting landscape proposals to local planning authorities, planning appeals, working as an expert witness and presenting to other bodies to obtain the necessary permissions.
